4th of July

Well we took the boys to my parents house for the 4th of July weekend. On friday we went to a festival in Santa Clara next to the International Swim Center with tons of 4th of July festivities. Luckily it was not that hot and the boys seemed to have a fun time. Then we went back to my parents house for some watermelon, ice cream and some swimming in the pool. The boys were so tired but with all the excitement they hardly napped, thus they went to bed by 8pm and we stayed home to watch fireworks on TV. I enjoyed watching the Olympic swimming trials more and forced myself to stay up to watch even though I was exhausted!! Here are some cute pics of the boys at the Santa Clara 4th of July festival...enjoy!!

Logan with Daddy on the Firetruck. We tried to get a pic with Dylan but he didn't want anything to do with the Firetruck...even though he is obsessed with Firetrucks. I guess he just got scared with it up close and personal...what a stinker!!

Here is Logan at the petting zoo with his cute little bunny. He was a little nervous at first but once the little furball was put on his lap he fell in love and didn't want to give it back. I think he is going to be asking for a pet bunny soon :)

We tried to get Dylan to pet the bunny but he seemed a little scared. Logan kept saying, "it's okay Dylan the bunny is SO nice". So Logan finally convinced Dylan to give it one short pet on the back.

Dylan loved the petting zoo but everything else at the festival he could care less about. But the one thing he LOVED was all the food. He ate his heart out and of course just LOVED the ice cream. I could not believe how fast he ate this entire ice cream bar...I'm surprised he didn't throw up. Well I guess he takes after me with his love for sugar...now if only I could get him to love his vegetables as much!!

Dylan eating more wonderfully healthy food...french fries in a cup. Again he ate the entire cup himself, except for a few pieces he shared with Logan. He is such a cute little piggy!!

July 5th we took the light-rail from Los Gatos to the CalTrain station in downtown San Jose and rode up to Standford University in Palo Alto. This was the highlight of the trip. The boys just had a blast on both trains and going to the train stations. Here we are at the Los Gatos light-rail station...say cheese :)

Logan getting bunny ears from daddy on the CalTrains ride up to Standford University. He had SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!

Dylan heard the train horn on CalTrains and this is the surprised look I got.

Here is Dylan infront of the FROG fountain at the Standford Shopping Center. We went to the Standford University store to buy some swimming shirts and both the boys found little stuffed animals they wanted. Dylan got the FROG animal and Logan got the GIRRAFE animal!! Lets just hope they fulfill mommy's dream of being future swimmers for Stanford, he-he, he-he :)

Costume Party and the Zoo

Last weekend the boys decided to have a costume party and tried on just about every costume we have in the dress up bucket. They finally decided on Flash and a Fireman. It was so cute I had to get a picture. Logan took a million pictures posing as the Fireman but Dylan seemed to feel uncomfortable as Flash but refused to take the costume off. After a little costume re-adjustment he was happy as a clam. Then he wanted to put the Flash face mask on but hated it once I got it on...then after a few minutes I went into the playroom and caught him with the face mask on and snapped some pics. Now both boys LOVE dressing up and are always in a new costume everyday :)

Say CHEESE......... :)

Mommy's little fireman.

Mr. Flash himself!!!!! Gotta LOVE that smile :)

Dylan caught up in a movie with his face mask on.

Our trip to the sac zoo. We renewed our membership and the boys love going ALL the time!!

Mommy and the boys...I love my stinkers :)!!!!!!!!!

Logan's 4th B-day Bash

We had Logan's 4th B-Day party a couple weeks ago and he wanted a Transformer themed party. We got a jumphouse/slide combo for all the kids to bounce and slide their hearts out and they all had fun. There were about 25 adults and about 12 kids over and our house was PACKED!! But Logan had a blast and loved having all his friends there to celebrate. Here are some pics of his party.

Logan and his big Transformer cake. Watch out they will get you!!!!

Logan and all his friends can't wait to get their hands on the cake. And as soon as the Happy Birthday song was over and we began to serve the cake they all ate it faster than I could blink my eyes. Even Dylan had a good size piece and got diarhea for a couple days...man that sugar!! But boy was that cake good and we had pleanty of left over for about a week or so, YUMMY :)

Here is Dylan eating his heart out. I mean this guy ate all day and tons of good and not so good food. Maybe it was the mixture that gave him diarhea...but oh, well he had a great time and loved Logan's b-day party...my spoiled little man!!

Jump House/Slide combo. The kids had a blast!!!! We rented it for half a day but the jump house people didn't come back until later in the evening to get it. So after the party and after dinner we inflated it again for just us..Patrick, me and the boys. We were jumping for about 20 minutes and then the power popped and the jump house deflated super FAST, I mean REALLY REALLY FAST. The boys instantly began screaming so I jumped out and grabbed Logan and then reached for Dylan but it already deflated over Patrick and Dylan. So Patrick brought Dylan out crying. As bad as it sounds it was terribly funny. The boys were having a blast until the power shut off and we inflated it long enough to scare the crap out of them!! The look on their faces were priceless...I couldn't believe how fast the boys could cry!! Well Patrick fixed the power problem and it inflated again. At first the boys were like "hell NO" we don't want to get in, but once I got back in to jump they decided to give it one more try and we jumped until about 5 minutes before the jump house people came back to get it.
So Logan's party was a huge success...now off to planning the next party...my 30th B-Day, yikes!!!!!!!
