Maybe tomorrow I will have some time to do a Halloween update :) Anyways, here are a TON of pictures from June to Sept. ENJOY :)

Logan's Pre-K Graduation from La Petite Academy:

Well, my little man graduated Pre-K back in June. Here he is will with best friend Sammie. Can't believe how fast he is growing up :(

Logan's 5th B-Day party at our house:

Awwwwww...look at that smile...he was having a BLAST!!!!!!

Day out with Thomas (Roaring Camp Railroad) Felton, CA:
We took the boys to see Thomas the Train in July of this year back up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. They just love Thomas!!!!

Here are the boys with Grandma Ginny and Grandpa Larry getting ready to ride Thomas.

Logan getting his Thomas tatoo. He gets the same one every year...

Seriously could not get Dylan away from this train table. That child is OBSESSED with TRAINS!

California State Fair (Sacramento, CA):
Took the boys for the annual CA state fair. They had a blast!!!!

Dylan was so brave. Logan would not pet the chicken so he made Dylan go first. Logan is carefully watching to see if Dylan gets his eyes poked out by the chicken...ugh, brothers.

The boys sitting for their fireman lessons with Dylan showing off his fireman hand stamp.

Crazy Dylan was scared of the Jelly Belly so Logan and I got a pic. And see, we got tasty Cotton Candy!!!!!!!!

The boys favorite part...THE MONORAIL TRAIN!!!!

Swim Lessons for Dylan:
We started Dylan in the YMCA Swim lessons back in September. He was so scared at first but soon he warmed up and did great. Now he enjoys his saturday morning swim lessons...that's my boy.

He was SO not happy about kicking on his back. Can you tell??

The California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park San Francisco:
At the end of September we took the boys to the BEST museum ever, the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. We have been wanting to go for some time now and we finally went and had the best time. It was not only a beautiful museum it was totally kid friendly, had amazing exhibits and awesome organic food...I couldn't have been happier!!!! We got there when they opened at 9:30am and didn't leave until 4pm. We ALL had a perfect day and we are definately going to make this museum an annual trip!!! Can't wait to go back next year!!!!!!

Patrick and Dylan getting ready to watch 3-D BUGS...creepy.

Logan and I walking through the different levels of the indoor rainforest. It was SO BEAUTIFUL :)

The boys hanging out in the natural history exhibit. They kept saying, "Wow it's like we are in the movie Night at the Museum. This is so cool mommy".

Daddy and the boys on the LIVING ROOF. This museum was so eco-friendly...loving it!!!!!!!

Looking down at part of the aquarium exhibit. Who would have though an albino alligator and a sea turtle could be best friends?? They hung out together the whole time...so cute.

Dylan loved the kids play area and these darn cupcakes. Look at that smile. You could tell he secretly wished they were real.

Logan's first day of Kindergarden:
Logan is now officially a kindergarden and loves school. He does lots of projects and really likes his teacher. At his parent-teacher conference his teacher said he is doing great and is a good student. Now if only I could get him to do his homework with a smile...I'll keep trying.

My brother leaves for Afghanistan:
In October my brother left to fight in the war over in Afghanistan. He is a pilot for the US Marines Cobra helicopter and was promoted to Captain before he left. He is in the picture below hugging his wife Nina.

Below is my brother Tony and his wife(in the blue plaid shirt) packing the last of his bags up. Behind them is one of the Cobra Helicopters.

Tony checking his bags one last time. Please remember those who are fighting for your freedom!! My brother is over there fighting those awful terrorist and we pray for his safe return.

Well, that is finally it for my Massive Blog Update. Oh, man it is so late...gotta head to bed. I will try to update again soon. Hope you enjoyed the pics...nighty night everyone!!!!

San Diego Trip

Well, it's been a while since my last post so here is the much needed update. We took a 5 trip to Oceanside, CA (San Diego area) at the end of May to visit my brother and his wife before he gets deployed to Afghanistan around Thanksgiving time. We took the boys to Legoland for 2 days, then to Camp Pendleton Military Base to see my brothers Cobra helicopters he pilots, and then Oceanside Beach. The boys had a blast and it was nice to have a much needed mini-vacation. I uploaded lots of pics so sit back and enjoy...
Legoland:

Dylan smiling on his first ride at Legoland.

The boys driving their mini lego cars. Logan drove pretty well and is a race car driver in training. Dylan on the other hand kept crashing into the sides, but had a smile on his face the whole time :)

Peek-a-boo Dylan!!

Logan standing with the Lego Pirate.

We had a mini birthday celebration for Logan while in San Diego. Here are both kids waiting on the stairs while we surprise them with balloons and some cupcakes. Logan was so happy.

Logan blowing out his cupcake candles.

Dylan partying it up.

Logan standing infront of Lego Las Vegas. I tell ya it must have taken YEARS to build these mini lego cities...it was amazing.

Above, Logan on his horse. And below is Dylan on his horse. They both rode this ride about a million times with huge smiles on their faces :)

Me and my boys ;)

Dylan looking through an exhibit at the Sea Life Aquarium at Legoland.

Logan enjoying the Sea Life exhibits.

Say Cheese Dylan :0

Me and my baby boy...I love you dilly!!!

My brother Tony and his wife giving us a thumbs up on the scariest ride at Legoland...the pedal bikes...yikes, hang on tight, it's gonna be a ride!!!!
Oh, and that's my crazy Dad in the back screaming with his hands up...I tell ya those bikes were so scary going 1 mile an hour!!

Of course my boys could not pass up the Legoland train ride. We could not get them off. My boys and their trains. They can never get enough :)

After 2 days of Legoland, both Logan and Dylan passed out 2 minutes after we left the parking lot. When I turned aroung they were sleeping but still holding onto their Star Wars lego sets. It was so cute and they really had a fantastic time!!

Camp Pendleton:

Dylan infront of one of my brother Cobra Helicopters.

Logan sitting in Uncle Tony's Cobra. It's so tight inside, I don't know how my brother fits let alone actually see out to pilot the helicopter.

More Cobra pics above and below.

Oceanside Beach:

Below are some pics of the beach. It was so cold down (in the upper 60's) there even though it was the end of May, but we still took the boys to the beach and they loved it, cold or not. This was the first year both boys actually felt comfortable enough to go into the water up to their waist. They had a blast!!

So we all had a great time down in San Diego and it will be nice to head back down in early fall to see my brother before he leaves. Now for a short update. We are doing okay. Patrick still has not found a job. There is just nothing out there. He has sent out tons of resumes to numerous architecture firms but the industry is so slow now no one is hiring. As for the state jobs, he has also sent out tons of resumes and has had only 2 interviews with one position with the unemployment department that we are waiting to hear back from if he gets the job or not. So if he gets the job with the unemployment department then we will sort of still be in the same shape we are in now, since the pay is about the same as his actual unemployment checks. I really don't know how the rest of the year will pan out. We try to think positive but right now we are just trying to make it day by day, week by week, month by month. I really hope things turn around for us. Sometimes the stress is just too much but we just keep going and looking forward not back. Financially we have hit rock bottom so we can only go up from here. Somehow we are going to make it out, I don't know how right now, but there has got to be a way out. I just try to keep busy with fun things for us and the family. Next up is a 4th of July party and then Thomas the Train at the end of July. I will update again in a couple weeks so check back soon!! Take care everyone :)
